Nigel Farage Gets Huge Boost in Popularity After ‘I’m a Celebrity’ Appearance

He’s now more liked amongst Conservative voters than the Prime Minister.

Nigel Farage’s decision to take part in reality TV show I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here has proven to be a massive success, with a new poll showing he’s more popular amongst Conservative voters than the Prime Minister.

Farage entered the show knowing it was a re-branding opportunity for the British public to see the real him away from media spin and vilification.

Despite early attempts by ITV bosses to edit him out of the show, he eventually made it to the final, finishing in 3rd place.

That has immediately translated to a huge boost in public approval.

A new J.L. Partners poll published by the Sun newspaper shows Farage has an approval rating of +18 amongst people who voted for the Conservative Party in the last election.

Before he entered the show, Farage was 37% positive versus 36% negative, yet has boosted his popularity to 46% positive versus 28% negative.

“Nigel Farage is now more popular than Rishi Sunak with Conservative 2019 voters after a jungle popularity boost,” pollster James Johnson wrote on X.

This is huge because Farage has hinted that he could run as a Tory MP, possibly forming an alliance with former PM Boris Johnson.

“I am looking at a Conservative government that is in total shambles, facing tomorrow effectively a confidence vote on an issue that affects every single living human being in our country, namely immigration on a level that never happened even during Tony Blair’s days,” Farage told Good Morning Britain.

When asked about his prospects of becoming a future Tory MP, Farage said, “Never say never.”

Some have even predicted that Farage could end up leading the Conservatives should they get trounced by Labour in the next election, with polls show is increasingly likely.
