A White House correspondent suggested Monday that President Trump is holding a rally in Waco Texas in order to reference the 30th anniversary of the 1993 siege there, and “foment anti-government sentiment.”
The reporter asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre if Joe Biden has any concerns that Trump will take advantage of the anniversary of the event.
“President Trump is going to give a rally in Waco, Texas. This is the 30th anniversary of the standoff between Branch Davidians and the FBI and the ATF in Waco. Is the Biden administration concerned about anti-government activity in Waco around the rally?” the reporter asked, adding “Are there security concerns that President Trump may use this anniversary to foment anti-government sentiment at that — at that event?”
Pierre responded “So, you know, I can’t speak to what the former President is going to do or say. What I — I’m not tracking any — any security concerns. So, don’t have anything more to share beyond that.”
Watch:
Incredible.
Reporters inventing scenarios and running them by the Biden administration whereby they can further smear Trump and his supporters as violent ‘anti-government’ extremists.
Another reporter asked the Press Secretary “What does the White House make of former President Trump calling on his supporters to protest his potential indictment,” again, the intimation is presumably that Trump is seeking to encourage violence.
These ridiculous questions came after unprecedented scenes at the press briefing where other reporters actively tried to shout down News Africa reporter Simon Ateba for becoming frustrated about Jean-Pierre spending time promoting the TV show Ted Lasso, rather than calling on him for a question, which she hasn’t done for months, despite Ateba repeatedly seeking to engage in and out of briefings.
