Fairfax County Police responded to the 6000 block of Bellview Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads around 8:56 p.m. on March 29 after reports of a stabbing. Officers found the adult male victim inside a residence suffering multiple stab wounds to the upper body.
He was transported to a hospital but later pronounced dead. Detectives quickly identified Chavarria Muy, 38, of no fixed address, as the suspect.

With assistance from a police helicopter, he was located in a vehicle nearby and arrested without incident. He now faces a second-degree murder charge and is being held without bond. Police confirmed the victim and suspect knew each other.
This latest horror unfolds against a backdrop of repeated failure. Just weeks earlier, another illegal alien brutally murdered Virginia mother Stephanie Minter at a bus stop. That killer, a Sierra Leone national with over 30 prior arrests including rape, should never have been on American streets.
This bloodshed is almost a daily occurrence now.

These horrific incidents are the direct result of open-borders ideology and sanctuary policies that prioritize criminal non-citizens over American lives. Governor Spanberger’s termination of 287(g) agreements with ICE and her push for laws shielding illegals from federal detention have turned Virginia into yet another killing field.
The Department of Homeland Security has already warned that such moves amount to playing Russian roulette with citizens’ safety.
While Trump has delivered record-low illegal crossings and aggressive deportations of criminal aliens precisely to stop this nightmare, Democrats and their media allies have dismissed those successes as “cruel” while bodies piled up under Biden. Now the consequences are impossible to ignore.
The pattern is clear: unchecked illegal immigration and sanctuary protections equal dead Americans.
Virginia families, like those across the country, deserve borders that work and laws that protect citizens first—not foreign criminals invading their neighborhoods. Deportations must resume without apology. Sanctuary policies must end. American lives depend on it.
