Republican strategist Scott Jennings delivered a direct assessment of the latest “No Kings” protests on CNN’s State of the Union, calling out the mix of communist, terror-linked, and activist symbols on display.
This past weekend, organizers staged the third round of “No Kings” rallies across more than 3,200 events in all 50 states. Claims of eight million participants circulated, with demonstrations targeting President Trump’s immigration enforcement, the Iran conflict, and living costs. Footage from the events told a different story.
In Washington, D.C., uniformed officers escorted marchers who then chanted anti-police slogans in their faces. One male demonstrator led the crowd: “I said take it to the streets, abolish the police.”
Scott Jennings: “These ‘No Kings’ rallies actually look pretty representative to me of the Democratic coalition. I saw people flying the Hammer and Sickle in New York City. I saw Hezbollah flags. I saw Hamas flags. I saw Palestinian flags. I saw tr*ns signs. I saw weirdo liberal… pic.twitter.com/qeeYFr6ye5

Jennings responded without hesitation. “These No Kings rallies actually look pretty representative to me of the Democratic coalition. I saw people flying the hammer and sickle in New York City. I saw Hezbollah flags. I saw Hamas flags. I saw Palestinian flags. I saw trans signs. I see weirdo liberal boomers out there.”
He continued: “This is pretty representative of the Democratic coalition. And that’s who funds it as well, by the way. And so I think if America looks at this and says, ‘What do the two parties stand for?’ they got it at the No Kings rallies.”
Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin further exposedthe coalition’s true nature, noting “If you look at their sponsorship of the No Kings Rally, it says CPUSA, which is the Communist Party of the United States of America, and it actually has the same symbol that this old Soviet Union used to have on it.”
He added: “There’s a reason why Republicans are calling this an anti-American rally. It is exactly what it is When you have the Communist party that’s, that’s sponsoring it, you’re saying, that’s pro-America. Come on, give me a break.”

As we have previously highlighted, these gatherings are tied to ActBlue-linked nonprofits and major dark-money networks.
Last Summer we also highlighted an attempt to pay Crowds On Demand $20 million to hire thousands of anti-Trump protesters for a manufactured nationwide effort. The CEO declined, but the bid revealed how professional organizers mobilize crowds when organic turnout falls short.
While the official No Kings site frames the events as resistance to authoritarianism, partner organizations have long records of supporting or excusing regimes that match the symbols waved in the streets.
In Los Angeles, the protests devolved further. Conservative commentator Benny Johnson reported: “No Kings” protests in Los Angeles over the weekend devolved into riots where local law enforcement and federal officers were violently attacked. An activist in LA spray-painted a message of hate against ICE. Johnson stated: “ICE agents are American heroes—thank them.”

Mainstream coverage emphasized large crowds and policy grievances. Yet images and video from New York City and D.C. showed communist flags on hats and poles, with protesters directing abolition chants at the police protecting their route. The contradiction stands out—demanding “no kings” while endorsing icons of historical tyranny.
Conservative commentator Eric Daugherty captured the media’s blatant double standard in a viral X post featuring side-by-side footage of a pro-Trump rally and a No Kings protest.

Trump’s America First agenda has focused on border security, law enforcement backing, and energy independence. The protests, by contrast, showcase a coalition reliant on billionaire-funded networks and radical anti-American sentiment.
Americans watching the coverage see the distinction clearly. One side has national priorities, while the other side stages spectacles featuring terror-group flags, calls to abolish police, outright violence against ICE agents, and open Communist Party sponsorship—all while claiming to defend democracy.
