Radical agitators at a “Hands Off Iran” protest in Philadelphia openly celebrated the deaths of U.S. servicemembers, with one masked speaker declaring that every American soldier returning home in a casket was cause for cheers.
The shocking footage, captured by Philadelphia-based conservative activist Frankie Scales, has gone viral and drawn widespread condemnation as U.S. military involvement in the region deepens.
The clip shows protesters carrying signs condemning the war, Israel, President Trump, and even Democratic Sen. John Fetterman. One speaker explicitly praised Hamas, Hezbollah, and Ansar Allah while calling for America to be brought “to its knees.”

“Until we have done everything in our power to bring the United States to its knees, let us not lose sight of the enemy,” the speaker blathered, adding “For every US military base that crumbles and for every US soldier who returns home in a casket, we cheer. Hamas, Hezbollah, Ansar Allah, all of the resistance forces we celebrate, these popular forces on the ground spend every waking moment in direct confrontation with Zionism, and they rely on a strong Iranian state to maintain their fighting capacity.”
When Scales asked the speaker, “Do you hate America?” the response was immediate: “May a Hamas rocket blow up your family’s home.”
Lovely.
The rhetoric comes as the conflict has already claimed American lives. As of the latest reports, seven U.S. military personnel were killed or died from wounds inflicted by hostile action during Operation Epic Fury, while six others were killed in the crash of an Air Force refueling aircraft in support of the operation.
Sen. John Fetterman was among the first to call out the display, posting on X: “Here in Philadelphia. Truly appalling. These assholes chanting for the death of our servicemembers. Where’s the Dem outrage and condemnation?”

Truly appalling.
These assholes chanting for the death of our servicemembers.
Where’s the Dem outrage and condemnation? https://t.co/BZ9oH0ryk1
This incident unfolds against the backdrop of growing U.S. troop deployments to the Middle East. As we reported earlier, thousands of elite soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division and Marines are en route to the region, with discussions centering on potential ground operations at key sites
And now, reports suggest the Pentagon is preparing 10,000 more troops.
Tucker Carlson highlighted the shift, noting that predictions of American boots on the ground in Iran—once dismissed as conspiracy theories—now appear to be materializing, with Israeli officials signaling the need for sustained U.S. commitment.
While the broader strategic decisions regarding the Iran conflict remain a matter of intense debate, the protesters’ open embrace of designated terrorist groups and their glee at American casualties reveal a strain of anti-American extremism that extends far beyond legitimate policy disagreement.
Such displays underscore how fringe elements within certain activist circles prioritize ideological confrontation over basic respect for those who serve.
This episode serves as a sobering reminder that foreign conflicts can expose deep domestic fault lines, where celebration of enemy victories and American losses crosses into territory that demands unified rejection, regardless of one’s stance on the war itself.
