Vance Declares NO CHANCE Of Prolonged War As Strikes Hammer Iran

Dismisses endless conflict fears

As US and Israeli strikes batter Iran, Vice President JD Vance has reaffirmed that these actions won’t spiral into the drawn-out quagmires that sapped American resources under previous globalist policies.

Drawing from his Marine Corps service where he was “lied to” about Iraq, Vance frames the administration’s strategy as a decisive pivot from neoconservative blunders.

In an interview aboard Air Force Two, Vance told reporters that President Trump is deploying military and diplomatic measures to halt Iran’s nuclear pursuit.

“The idea that we’re going to be in a Middle Eastern war for years with no end in sight – there is no chance that will happen,” he asserted, highlighting a commitment to rapid, targeted results over indefinite occupations.

Vance, a self-described “skeptic of foreign military interventions,” emphasized diplomacy as the ideal path but linked it to Iran’s responses.

“I think we all prefer the diplomatic option,” he noted, adding, “it really depends on what the Iranians do and what they say.”

However, Iran has retaliated without restraint against US bases, exposing the perils of prior appeasement.

The joint US-Israeli assault, dubbed “Operation Epic Fury,” is targeting Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs while aiming to topple the regime.

Explosions rocked Tehran as strikes hit military leaders, with Trump declaring the campaign “massive and ongoing” to crush threats to American security.

Iran has fired back at regional US assets, but the coalition’s precision strikes underscore the collapse of Tehran’s proxy networks, rejecting the failed diplomacy that empowered rogue actors.

Social media surges with live updates on the strikes, capturing regime decapitations, retaliatory hits, and political divides.

Footage of an Iranian ballistic missile striking the US Navy’s 5th Fleet HQ in Bahrain quickly went viral.

Several other US bases have reportedly been hit by Iran today, but the extent of the damage is yet to be revealed at time of writing.

Iran has also reportedly struck back at civilian sites, including a resort in Dubai and Kuwait International Airport.

The joint US/Israeli strikes have killed IRGC head Major General Mohammad Pakpour and Defense Minister Amir Nasirzadeh per Reuters, signaling a severe hit to Iran’s command structure amid the regime’s unraveling.

Israeli media are reporting that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in airstrikes in Iran. However, there is no official confirmation of this yet at time of writing.

President Trump urged Iranians to “take over your government” and seize “the hour of your freedom,” framing the strikes as a catalyst for internal regime change.

Reports suggest Iran was caught off guard  by the force of the strikes, with proxies like Hamas and Hezbollah unprepared to retaliate.

Saudi Arabia has also announced involvement in US airstrikes following Iran’s attacks, including a strike on a US base inside their country, broadening the anti-Tehran alliance and further marginalizing the mullahs.

Reps. Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna are bideong to force a vote blocking the strikes, with Massie deeming it not “America First” and Khanna calling it “illegal,” though the effort is poised to falter against widespread backing.

Senator John Fetterman rebuked critics, stating that the President is “absolutely correct,” in standing against a regime that “massacred 30,000 of their own people.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio notified the Gang of Eight before the strikes, contacting leaders like Sen. John Thune and Speaker Mike Johnson to maintain transparency and constitutional alignment.

Trump is acutely aware of the need to avoid the globalist pitfall of endless war, focusing instead on crushing threats to freedom and prosperity. With Iran, this could mark the end of a regime that has terrorized the world for far too long.
