President Trump delivered another brutal takedown of the fake news media during a White House roundtable, refusing to let biased hacks push their narratives without a fight.
In an intense exchange that exposed the press corps’ relentless agenda against his administration, Trump unloaded on ABC News correspondent Rachel Scott after she pressed him on releasing classified footage of a September 2 military strike on a Venezuelan drug boat.
The operation, led by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, has been smeared by leftist outlets desperate to undermine America’s crackdown on narco-terrorism flooding the borders with poison.
Trump didn’t hold back, calling out Scott’s hostile questioning and deferring to Hegseth’s judgment on the matter.
“You are the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place. Let me just tell you – you’re an obnoxious, terrible reporter. It’s always the same thing with you!” Trump tore into Scott.
“I told you: whatever Pete Hegseth wants to do, is ok with me!” he added, standing firm behind his Secretary of War amid the bogus controversy.

The president has emphasised the impact of the strikes, noting a 94% drop in drug-smuggling boats since his administration ramped up operations against cartels. Yet the media fixates on disproven claims of an unneccessary “double tap” follow-up strike, ignoring how these actions protect American families from the fentanyl crisis imported under Biden’s watch.
Trump continues to call out ABC’s propaganda machine. Just weeks ago he eviscerated another “terrible” ABC reporter in an epic Oval Office smackdown, declaring their network’s license should be revoked for peddling fake news.
Trump’s was also unrepentant in unloading on fake news reporters aboard Air Force One, where he slammed biased questioning on migration and other America First priorities.
Trump also initiated a savage takedown of a reporter just days earlier, where he asked point-blank: “Are you stupid?” after they parroted Biden-era failures on immigration security.
The boat strike in question targeted a go-fast vessel off Venezuela’s coast, part of over 20 operations since September that have hammered Tren de Aragua and other cartels. Hegseth has released edited footage showing the boat packed with narcotics, but critics like The Washington Post have spun wild tales of war crimes without evidence—tales debunked by Pentagon veterans and even The New York Times.
Recent reports confirm survivors from the initial blast were released to Colombia and Ecuador, undercutting leftist claims of misconduct. Lawmakers like Rep. Jim Himes have demanded full video release, but Trump and Hegseth prioritize national security over appeasing media vultures.
In the same press gaggle today, Trump turned the tables on another unprepared hack who tried to hype up potential Republican retirements in the House.
“At least 20 House Republicans may retire!” the reporter claimed, pushing a one-sided narrative.
Trump shot back: “Democrats also. Why don’t you mention them? How many Dems will retire? No, no…you don’t know! You’re unprepared, because you only know the Republicans, but not the Democrats. You’re totally unprepared!”
