As the Trump administration vaporised yet another Venezuelan drug boat—the 22nd in the ongoing onslaught—leftists like Rep. Jim Himes got busy humanising the cartel scum responsible for flooding U.S. streets with poison.
In a brazen display of sympathy for the enemy, Democrat Rep. Jim Himes described the narco-terrorists killed in a U.S. military follow-up strike on a drug-laden boat as “two terrified men…guys that probably didn’t have a lot of economic opportunity.”
The pearl-clutching came after lawmakers viewed classified footage of the September 2 incident, where survivors of an initial blast climbed back aboard to salvage their illicit cargo—only to meet justice in a second, decisive strike.

Himes’ comments expose the twisted priorities of Democrats who seem more concerned with coddling foreign criminals than protecting American families ravaged by fentanyl and other cartel poisons. As the post bluntly puts it: “They actually want you to feel sorry for the narco-terrorists.”
They’re gonna be “Venezuelan dads” before it’s all over

Just yesterday, on December 4, U.S. Southern Command unleashed a lethal kinetic strike under Operation Southern Spear, obliterating the 22nd Venezuelan drug boat in international waters of the Eastern Pacific.
Directed by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, the operation targeted a vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization, confirmed by intelligence to be hauling narcotics along a notorious trafficking route.

Four male narco-terrorists perished in the blast, marking a continued escalation in Trump’s no-holds-barred war on the cartels tied to Venezuela’s Maduro regime.
This follows a string of successes since November 15, with Democrats howling about “unlawful orders” even as public support surges for finally hitting these killers where it hurts.
The controversy Himes is fueling traces back to the explosive September 2 strike in the Caribbean, the inaugural blow in Trump’s campaign against these hemispheric threats. An initial missile shredded the boat, but two survivors were spotted scrambling back aboard—not to surrender, but to desperately salvage the floating cocaine packs destined for American streets.
ABC News reported that the men “were believed to be potentially in communication with other boats in the vicinity and were salvaging some of the drugs that had been the boat’s cargo.” Deemed active threats under contingency protocols, Adm. Frank M. Bradley authorized a follow-up strike, erasing the risk of the drugs resurfacing or the terrorists escaping.
The New York Times detailed how classified video shown to lawmakers captured the survivors clinging to the overturned hull, slipping in and out of the water as they tried to right the vessel—hardly the actions of “terrified men” defeated, but of determined operatives fighting to preserve their deadly payload.
This isn’t mercy for the downtrodden; it’s a calculated defense of American lives against groups that rape, behead, and burn their way to dominance, controlling swaths of the U.S.-Mexico border like feudal lords.
Senior Trump advisor Stephen Miller this week once again blasted Democrats for siding with “narco-trafficking, murdering, terrorist SCUM!”Miller highlighted how leftists deny the very existence of “narco-terrorists,” rebranding them as harmless “narco-persons” while ignoring their ISIS-like tactics: “They use rape as a weapon. They skin people alive. They cut off their heads. They burn them to death!”
Adding to the irony, even Joe Biden once talked tough on cartels, as seen in a resurfaced a 1989 Senate hearing where Biden demanded an “international strike force” to crush these “narco-terrorists,” insisting “there must be no safe haven” and calling for swift, severe punishment. Fast-forward to today, and his party cries “war crimes” over Trump’s actual enforcement—while fentanyl deaths skyrocketed under Biden’s open-border fiasco.
Since September, the U.S. has executed over 20 strikes, killing more than 80 narco-operatives linked to Tren de Aragua and other Maduro-backed gangs, and sinking tons of drugs bound for U.S. shores.
Venezuela’s puppet assembly vows investigations, but their outrage only underscores the strikes’ effectiveness against state-sponsored trafficking.
Himes’ sob story for these “economic opportunity”-deprived killers betrays the left’s true allegiance: to open borders, globalist excuses, and anything that weakens America. Trump’s kinetic justice is a long-overdue reckoning, putting American families first and crushing the cartels that Democrats have enabled for too long.
