In a fresh interview, Stephen Miller, Trump’s deputy chief of staff for policy, further exposed the Democrats’ deranged priorities: cheering rebellion in the ranks while decrying lethal action against cartel death squads.
As the administration ramps up boat strikes to crush drug runners tied to Venezuela’s Maduro regime, Miller made it crystal clear, the U.S. military is finally defending the homeland, not endless foreign quagmires or deep-state fantasies.
Miller celebrated the shift from globalist folly to homeland hawkishness, urging “We’re not going off running around the Middle East trying to ‘build democracies’ in caves and deserts and in distant sands that have never known democracy.”

“We’re using the military to protect American security, American prosperity, American lives right here where we live, where our children live!” he added.
“President Trump, Secretary Hegseth, and this entire government are committed to finally using our military to defend our people, our borders, our family, our culture, our history, our heritage, to defend the United States,” Miller continued.
But Miller saved his sharpest barbs for the Dems greenlighting rebellion while soft-pedaling savagery. In another viral segment, he asserted “This is the first time I can EVER think where a major political party has sided with narco-trafficking, m*rdering, terrorist SCUM!”
He likened the cartels to ISIS, noting “A Democrat says ‘oh, there’s no such thing as a narco-terrorist. They’re just narco-persons!’ ISIS and these narco-terrorists in our hemisphere use the same tactics. They use r*pe as a weapon. They skin people alive. They cut off their heads. They burn them to death!”

“These narco-terrorists, if a politician opposes them, they kidnap their family. If they don’t give them what they want, they m*rder their family,” Miller emphasised, adding “You can go to the Border Patrol here in the United States and you can say, draw me a map of the border, and on the Mexican side, tell me which cartel controls every inch of territory. And the border agents can literally say, mile by mile, which cartel controls which section of border. Not the Mexican government! They don’t control it.”
“When President Trump declared these organizations foreign terrorist organizations, that wasn’t just a talking point. That wasn’t just a buzzword. It was a promise, a promise from this president to use hard American power to KILL and to STOP these terrorists, these enemies of the United States from killing our families, from killing our children from taking over our communities!” Miller further blasted.
Democratic Senator Warner’s MSNBC meltdown yesterday, where he floated that the “uniformed military may help save us from this president,” is the latest from the “Seditious” Dems pushing troops to ditch their oath for anti-Trump vigilantism.
Trump himself branded them “traitors” for inciting chaos in the barracks. Meanwhile, these same voices whine about “war crimes” over precision hits on cartel speedboats—vessels packed with poison that’s killed more Americans than any overseas foe.
A recent CBS/YouGov poll shows 53% of Americans back these strikes, even as Democrats demand Hegseth’s head for enforcing rules of engagement that aren’t “suggestions.”
Not all Republicans are on board, with Sen. Rand Paul, long a skeptic of forever wars, slamming the boat strikes as a “prelude to war” with Venezuela, telling reporters it’s all “building up towards war.”
Paul suggests there is a lack of proof tying vessels to drugs and decries the strikes as “clearly illegal,” potentially violating war laws by targeting the wounded. He’s even teamed with Dems like Adam Schiff and Tim Kaine to force a Senate vote blocking unauthorized action, invoking the War Powers Resolution if Trump eyes land ops.
“I hope it’s not a prelude to war, but I feel like they’re building up towards war,” Paul has noted.
