U.S. Revokes 80,000 Visas In 2025: Rubio’s Crackdown Targets Criminals and Security Risks

“Remove anyone who is not a net asset”

The United States has revoked a whopping 80,000 visas in 2025, a sweeping enforcement action targeting criminal activity and national security threats.

A Fox News segment showcases the scale, 16,000 visas revoked for DUI, 12,000 for assault, 8,000 for theft, and 8,000 student visas.

The State Department’s intensified scrutiny since January, leveraging AI to scan social media and historical data for red flags like criminal records or extremist ties has massively contributed to the numbers.

The figures mark a massive increase on previous years, per State Department figures, and the aggressive purge aligns with Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s earlier vow to reclaim sovereignty, declaring “No one is entitled to a student visa to enter the United States. No one. It’s not a constitutional right. It’s not guaranteed by law.”

The crackdown reflects a paradigm shift under the Trump administration, reversing Biden-era leniency with a focus on deporting threats, echoing Rubio’s promise to “revoke them after entry if someone’s presence undermines our national security or interests.”

Rubio, in a live address, emphasized the policy’s breadth, noting “Every day, consular officers deny visas for all kinds of reasons, suspicion of overstaying, criminal associations, whatever it may be. Visas are denied worldwide daily. No one is entitled to one.”

Rubio dismantled the notion of automatic entry, insisting: “The burden of proof is the other way around,” requiring applicants to prove loyalty and assimilation.

This visa crackdown dovetails with Trump’s Thanksgiving bombshell to permanently pause Third World migration, vowing “Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation.”

Rubio’s stance further aligns with Trump’s vow to “remove anyone who is not a net asset… denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization,” with the 80,000 figure a concrete step toward reclaiming control.

As Rubio’s “No one is entitled” mantra gains traction, the policy shift promises a new era of enforcement, reversing years of laxity.
