Senior Trump Administration advisor Stephen Miller sounded a dire warning Monday on Fox News, accusing Democrats of a deliberate “Somalification of America,” importing clans to fracture society into “ethnic feuds” for permanent power.
Miller also warned that Minnesota is “ground zero” amid exploding Somali-linked fraud scandals siphoning millions from taxpayers.
Miller thundered: “Look how powerful the Democrat Party became in Minnesota once they flooded it with ~100,000 Somalians!”

“Once the elections were decided by clan rivalries and ethnic feuds, once that happened, the Democrat Party became permanently powerful in Minnesota. They became permanently powerful in the Twin Cities,” he added.
“When you see the state of Somalia, that’s what they want for America,” Miller continued, proclaiming “Because it’s easier to rule over an empire of ashes than it is for the Democratic Party to rule over a functioning, Western, high-trust society with a strong middle class.”
“That’s their model for America, to make the whole country into a version of Somalia. And everything they do gets down to that.” Miller declared, warning that “it must be stopped.”
Minnesota’s Somali diaspora, the largest in the U.S. at over 100,000 per Census estimates, surged under refugee resettlements since the 1990s, peaking under Obama-Biden with family reunifications and asylum grants, transforming Twin Cities demographics.
This influx fueled Dem dominance, electing Rep. Ilhan Omar in 2018 amid “clan rivalries” as Miller decries, and turning Minneapolis into a blue stronghold.
This has directly led to a fraud epidemic bilking billions, starting with a $100M child care scam where Somali centers faked enrolments for reimbursements.
The scandals ballooned. 2022’s Feeding Our Future heist saw $250M in COVID child nutrition funds siphoned by Somali-led nonprofits, with 70 indicted and seven convicted for $40M in June 2024.
And now autism fraud, with Somali centers billing Medicaid for phantom services, netting millions.
Minnesota GOP State Representative Kristin Robbins has fumed, “Minnesotans are fed up. They see their dollars being stolen by fraudsters while working harder than ever to make ends meet. Minnesotans are fed up with the fraud and lack of accountability.”
“I’m not sure we still have a handle on this. I think we’re at the tip of the iceberg,” Robbins warns.
