Megyn Kelly: FBI’s Crooks Cover-Up Deepens – “This Whole Thing Stinks”

New evidence suggests Thomas Crooks was recruited to kill Trump

The attempted assassination of President Trump by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks last year in Butler, Pennsylvania, was initially written off as the act of a dangerous radicalised loner. However, five months later, that narrative is collapsing under mounting evidence of an FBI cover-up.

It’s a story Tucker Carlson first exposed in detail last week, revealing Crooks’ extensive violent online trail, the suspiciously rapid cremation of his body, and the Bureau’s repeated lies about his digital footprint.

Now Megyn Kelly, in a revealing interview with Glenn Greenwald, has taken the revelations further, declaring that the latest reporting “points to Thomas Crooks having been recruited to assassinate President Trump.”

Kelly walked through Carlson’s bombshell findings and paired them with fresh reporting from the New York Post’s Miranda Devine.

“The clear implication in my view of Tucker’s piece is that the guy was recruited by somebody to conduct this horrific act,” Kelly explained, adding “And maybe it began with this character who goes by Willy Tepes… Tucker goes on to report that the FBI has made no mention of this Tepes guy in public, though they certainly know he exists.”

She highlighted the chilling exchange: Crooks had been raging online about murdering Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and immigrants — then abruptly switched to anti-Trump talking points on COVID. Days later he interacted with “Willy_Tepes,” a username tied to the U.S.-designated terrorist group Nordic Resistance Movement and now appearing on foreign Antifa sites.

“Thomas Crooks’s online footprint abruptly ends after his encounter with this mysterious figure, Willy_Tepes,” Kelly noted.

“So he seems to me to be clearly implying that perhaps Willy_Tepes recruited Crooks for someone, alerted someone that this is a hothead who’s got some mental problems and is prone to violence,” she further explained.

Kelly also revisited the cremation issue Carlson first flagged, noting “One of the things Tucker pointed out is that they cremated his body 10 days after he died… getting rid of any chance to do any follow-up testing on drugs in the system, etc. And he’s suggesting that seems awfully quick on a guy you knew was attempting to assassinate the likely next president of the United States.”

Greenwald pressed the institutional secrecy angle asking “Why haven’t they told us about Thomas Crooks? There’s no trial. He’s dead. They’ve denied that there’s any conspiracy… So there’s no legal proceeding to impede. Why are they keeping all that a secret?”

Kelly pointed to fresh confirmation that, as of the one-year anniversary of the Butler shooting, the FBI is still stonewalling Republican senators Ron Johnson and Rand Paul, noting that “The FBI was stonewalling two Senate offices… One of those offices said the Trump FBI was at first cooperating this spring… but then abruptly stopped doing so.”

Wrapping up, Kellywarned “I don’t know, Glenn. This whole thing stinks… Something’s going on here.”

With every passing week, the “lone gunman” story looks less like incompetence and more like obstruction. The American people are still waiting for the full truth.
