I have indirect connections with Japan through my son and grand daughter.
Last year, they both were invited to stay with a Japanese family they befriended and who treated them like royalty when they visited. My grand daughter is learning Japanese now and is on her phase 2 stage of the learning process. I’ve met one of their Japanese family friends when he came over to France on a business trip. Must say, as a people, they seem quite gracious and very courteous towards others.
