President Trump has confirmed that he will give Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously on Tuesday night.
In comments at the White House, Trump stated “Erika, his beautiful wife, is going to be here, and a lot of people are going to be here.”
“I’m coming back, I believe it’s Tuesday night for Charlie Kirk, a friend of mine, a friend of all of ours, a friend of a lot of the people right here,” Trump revealed.
The President is scheduled to visit Israel Monday following his historic brokering of peace between the country and Hamas, resulting in a ceasefire that appears to be holding and the impending release of all hostages.
Yet, Trump insisted he will return to further honor Charlie Kirk.
“And we’re giving him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is the highest honor you get outside of the Congressional Medal of Honor. One’s military, one’s civilian, but it’s the greatest honor,” the President added.

In the time following Kirk’s tragic assassination, Turning Point USA has gained more than 350,000 new student registrations and over 130,000 inquiries for new college and high school chapters.
Appearing recently on Fox News, Kirk’s TPUSA partner Andrew Kolvet was asked “What would Charlie think about this?”
He responded, “Charlie was dreaming about having a Club America chapter at every single high school in the country. That would be 23,000 chapters. The whole team said, ‘I think you need to slow down!'”
“He would be blown away to know that vision is within reach in the very near future!” Kolvet urged.

Kolvet has also commented on the repeated attempts to smear Kirk after his death with out of context clips, noting “I thought it was really important to set the record straight on some of these clips that had gone viral on the left, smearing Charlie because there was a very plain, clear, logical, common-sense explanation for them.”
“Up and down the line, whatever the clip was that they were taking out of context, there’s actually a really reasonable explanation that the vast, vast, vast majority of conservatives are going to agree. Charlie was a conservative. He didn’t expect, you know, progressives to agree with his opinions,” Kolvet said.
He continued, “But to take them and then bastardize them and corrupt them and spin them so that you could sort of somehow say, ‘Charlie deserved what came to him,’ is a gross misjustice because Charlie, and I spent so much time with him in private, was truly one of the most remarkably kind, generous, loyal, and just decent human beings you would ever meet,”
“He exemplified the Christian ethic in private and in public, and he lived those values, truly,” Kolvet explained, adding “I felt a moral obligation as his friend to have his back and to set the record straight.”
“We’re not done defending Charlie,” he asserted, adding “We’re going to keep calling out the lies when we see them.”

Kolvet has also noted that Kirk loved the recent South Park episode that mocked him, and has since been pulled, and that he would have wanted it to be brought back on air.
Hey @paramountplus, as someone who can speak with some authority on this, Charlie loved that he was featured in South Park. He told me many times. He would want the episode back up.
