Rogan: Kirk Assassination “Opened My Eyes” As Leftists “Celebrated Public Execution”

“That’s insane”

During the latest episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan discussed the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and the shocking online celebrations of Kirk’s death by self-described ‘progressives’.

Rogan, joined by the country rock band The Red Clay Strays, stated “the Charlie Kirk thing f***ing opened up my eyes. I never expected so many people would celebrate that man’s murder.”

“That is evil,” vocalist Brandon Coleman responded.

Yeah, it is. Bizarre, just bizarre, like normal people… I think they’re good people, and they genuinely think that guy was a bad guy, and I don’t think they’re right, and I think they were indoctrinated.”

Rogan continued, “I don’t agree with everything that Charlie Kirk said or did. But this is… it’s not a thing to celebrate ever.”

“And especially when you’re seeing people on the left that are supposed to be progressives,” the host urged, adding “These are supposed to be the kind, compassionate, inclusive people.”

They’re “celebrating gun violence, public execution like— That’s insane. That’s… that’s a public assassination. That’s insane,” an exasperated Rogan asserted

“I don’t want to see anybody die,” Coleman interjected.

“No. And most people recognize like, ‘Hey, as a collective, as a society, this is not right.’ Rogan replied, adding “Regardless of whoever that person is, whether that person’s on the left or the right, they just got shot in front of the whole world.”

“It’s not a thing to celebrate ever. What the f*** is wrong [with people cheering when he died]?” Rogan reiterated.

“He was a young guy, he had kids, he got shot in front of his kids essentially, in front of everybody,” the host pointed out, adding “Perfectly normal people celebrated the murder of a young man because they did not like what he had to say.”

“You’re only getting it through this very bizarre filter of just text on social media and videos where someone’s just talking to the camera, celebrating on social media. It’s like, it’s very strange,” Rogan emphasised.

The reflection came weeks after the initial shock of Kirk’s death, which Rogan learned about live on air with guest Charlie Sheen. In that episode, Rogan predicted celebrations would follow, and pleaded for discourse over violence, calling Kirk “a very intelligent guy.”

Rogan has repeatedly highlighted the hypocrisy of gun-control advocates on the left cheering a “public execution,” contrasting it with their usual stances on compassion and inclusivity. He attributed much of the vitriol to Democrat indoctrination and media propaganda amplifying division.

As we highlighted yesterday, Democrats are not toning down the rhetoric and more deranged leftists are signalling they’ve embraced political violence.
