Charlie Kirk’s executive producer at TPUSA Andrew Kolvet has blasted Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after the New York Rep. labelled Kirk “ignorant and uneducated.”
AOC was one of 58 Democrats who voted against a resolution Friday to honor Kirk’s life and condemn his assassination.
While speaking on the House floor, Ocasio-Cortez claimed that the resolution would “bring great pain” to those who have faced “segregation, Jim Crow and the legacy of bigotry.”

Of Kirk, AOC said “His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans far from ‘working tirelessly to promote unity’ asserted by the majority in this resolution.”
Appearing on Fox’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Kolvet noted “The fact that she would put her words in public like that is disappointing, and I hope that she receives all of the appropriate backlash for that, just as Jimmy Kimmel did.”
“That’s what we’re talking about,” Kolvet continued, adding “You can say things, sure, you have the freedom to, but we have the freedom to respond the way that we want, and, frankly, I think a lot of Americans find it disgusting what’s happening.”

When asked by Ingraham if Kirk had ever invited AOC on his show, Kolvet responded, “Charlie would have loved to sit down with AOC,” sarcastically adding that Kirk “often reflected on her deep wisdom and her insightful analysis of the current moment.”
He further stated “I want everybody to realize that my friend that I worked with for eight years was not only a good and decent and true person, he was a loving father. He was a loving husband. The fact that we can’t get unanimity within our own U.S. Congress to condemn the assassination of my friend, and he’s an American hero, an American icon, he belongs to history now.”
“The fact that we can’t even get people to agree on that, is really disappointing,” Kolvet further urged.
AOC is among a number of Democrats to have trashed Charlie Kirk in the wake of his murder. Minnesota Rep. Ihan Omar has said that Kirk’s legacy belongs in a dustbin, and repeatedly stated that anyone who disagrees is “full of shit.”

On Friday, House speaker Mike Johnson noted that “118 Democrats… decided not to vote or to vote no” on the Kirk resolution, adding that “All it does is affirm a young American who died too early, who gave his life to American principles and values and patriotism and free speech.”
“And it decried the assassination and political violence that’s taken over our country. Democrats voted against that, and I think it’s shameful,” Johnson told host Larry Kudlow.
