Democrat Senator John Fetterman once again comes across as the only sane voice in the Party after he advised his colleagues to stop treating common sense issues as if it’s the end of Democracy.
Fetterman was commenting on the latest development Democrats have decided is the descent into tyranny, the firing of Jimmy Kimmel by ABC.
“Everything is turning into like a national freak out,” Fetterman told the Daily Caller, adding “a late night host got put on hiatus.”
He also implored Democrats to stop trying to shut down the government by objecting to every instance of spending.
“If we shut our government down, that’s a serious national freak out kind of a thing,” Fetterman urged.
“I don’t think we need that right now,” Fetterman continued, adding “It’s wrong.”
“I’m just tired of squaring up on everything,” Fetterman further stated, noting “People need to just chill a little about a lot of things.”
Congressional Democrats have accused Federal Communications Commission (FCC) chair Brendan Carr of allowing President Trump to weaponise television networks against his political enemies.
They’ve even announced an oversight probe into Kimmel’s firing.
“This is an assault on everything this country has stood for since the Constitution’s been signed,” Chuck Schumer ridiculously declared during a press conference on Thursday, adding “Whether it’s Jimmy Kimmel, civil society organizations, or the Trump administration’s perceived political enemies, its crusade is unending.”
Fetterman further warned that “America would be a serious loser if we shut our government down.”
“After [Charlie] Kirk and a lot of the other things, I don’t think we need more chaos,” Fetterman added.
