Rand Paul Branded “Insufferable Clown” For Coming Out AGAINST Trump’s Narco Boat Strike

“Sick of Rand’s idiocy”

Senator Rand Paul has once again raised the hackles of Trump’s base by expressing opposition to the President’s decision to conduct a military strike on a Venezuelan vessel full of drugs and narcoterrorists.

As we highlighted, Trump cabinet officials have indicated this strike is just the beginning.

In an appearance on Newsmax, Paul stated “I guess it’s hard to have any sympathy for drug dealers trying to import product into our country. But at the same time, you might ask the question: where does it end?”

“Are we the world’s policeman — the international policemen? Are we going to be blowing people up off the coast all around the world trying to interdict?” Paul contiuned.

“Really, I’m not sure we have the finances to be the world’s policemen,” the Senator emphasised.

“So, on the face of it, it sounds good. Nobody’s going to have any lost love for a bunch of drugs going down in the ocean and killing some gang members. At the same time, really, where does it end?” he reiterated.

“And is it really the constitutional duty of our government to be policing international drug trade everywhere around the world?” Paul asked.

He clarified, “If it’s coming into our country, I think interdicting drugs coming into our country, absolutely — there is a U.S. interest in that. But that’s a real question. I don’t know the details of where the drugs were going. They may well have been coming to our country, but this was done off the coast of another country. So it is a little bit different. It is unique.”

“It hadn’t really been done in decades, where we have an action against another group inside their territorial waters,” Paul added.

The remarks have not gone down well on X.

We now have a situation where Fetterman is fully onboard with Trump on protecting Americans from the cartels but Rand Paul isn’t.

Bizarro world.

  1. Is an unwarranted attack on a group of ferryboat / fishing boats supposed to provide exertainment for the general US public?
Does our military not have something more important to do than destroy boats traveling back and forth between the Trinidad and Tobago Islands probably moving day workers and produce supplies back and forth? Could not customs forces take a look into this? Or the local constabulary?
Why was not lawful apprehension or investigation done before firing expensive missiles?
Was this some sort of grand show before he main event?
Interational law regarding transport of illicit substances is quite effective you know?

      1. And what exactly did the boat murders of transporters accomplish?
All the drug transport comes out of Peru – Ecuador and Columbia. Go see about baja California and the West coast distribution ports for illicit products,
Would prefer solid evidence of otherwise.
Venezuela is floating upon a lodestone of liquid gold called oil why would they dirty their hands with the cartels for that other thing.
Try not to be influenced too much by what the mainstream news channels have to offer. They will carry the administration’s biased news feed.

  2. Senator Rand Paul asked normal questions. Where does it end? What about the Constitution? Demonrats didn’t care about the constitution. This government promised to respect the constitution, if I remember correctly.

  3. Paul is a BIG-L Libertarian… and as such, he hates the US military and believes we should never use our military beyond our own borders. Meh. It’s as predictable as morning sunrise.
