During today’s congregation of global leaders at the White House in conjunction with Ukrainian President Zelensky’s visit, President Trump had them all line up in front of the infamous “fight, fight, fight” portrait.
The painting depicts Trump fist pumping the air after surviving the Butler assassination attempt and is based on the photograph snapped by an AP reporter at the 2024 rally.
“That was not a great day,” Trump said pointing to the painting and prompting the other leaders including French President Macron, UK Prime Minister Starmer and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, to take it in.

As we previously highlighted, Trump placed the painting prominently in the Grand Foyer near the entrance of the executive mansion, replacing the official portrait of Barack Obama.
Trump has relegated that portrait and George W. Bush’s portrait to the top of the Grand Staircase, where they are only visible to White House officials and staff.
