With the ‘Make America Healthy Again’ agenda in full swing, many State and local officials around the country have been spurred to make an effort to ensure people are eating better.
One such example is limiting what foods can be bought through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, otherwise known as food stamps.
One mom couldn’t stand that she can no longer feed her kids junk food, complaining that “You’re gonna tell me my daughter doesn’t deserve a popsicle”.
EBT recipients are having BREAKDOWNS over not being able to buy unhealthy food..

“You’re gonna tell me my daughter doesn’t deserve a popsicle”. pic.twitter.com/cVw14N4GUE
“I am so dumbfounded right now. There are people that genuinely think that people who use EBT don’t deserve soda, candy, or desserts,” she whinges.
“You’re gonna tell me I don’t deserve to get brownies. You’re gonna tell me I can’t have Dr. Pepper with my dinner. And all I’m hearing is, ‘Be grateful. It’s free food.'”
She also has the temerity to call everyone else entitled, whining “Get off of your throne of entitlement and take a look around, you guys. Everyone is one bad day away from being homeless or even needing government assistance.”
She called us entitled? Oh sweetheart.. you might want to look up the definition.

“Do you not see how that makes you look? Your lack of empathy and understanding is outstandingly atrocious,” she concludes.
Why’s it our responsibility to buy her children popsicle’s.. like tf?
— American AF ?? (@iAnonPatriot) August 9, 2025
??
Yeah, shocking as it sounds, it’s not everyone else’s responsibility to pay for you to feed your kids crap.
The idea that people “deserve” to be fed by taxpayers is the problem. You don’t “deserve” ? unless you earn it.

Maybe she can go without in order to pay for a popsicle or a soda, which likely costs about $1?
So why don't you forego your manicure and buy some brownies?

I find it so interesting that she has a cell phone (with service?) to make videos but can't afford to buy her daughter a popsicle?
— Pauline Baird Jones (@paulinebjones) August 9, 2025
Her nails are done and her hair is highlighted she could have bought 400

Popsicles instead.
A whole box of ’em costs $2.50.
From a public health standpoint, it makes sense that government entitlements should be designated to pay only for nutritious foods

Treats can be purchased separately. A box of Walmart great value brand popsicles is $2.50
She could also make some popsicles or brownies and save money.
Popsicles: Water, sugar, flavoring, freezer
— Sandy ?? (@RightGlockMom) August 9, 2025
Brownies: Flour, sugar, cocoa, egg, vanilla, butter (or oil), oven
Soda: Buy your own
Nah, that would be too much hard work, and not enough reliance on the state.
She can have an entire pan of brownies if she’d get off her unemployed asset and buy flour, eggs, butter, and cocoa. For that matter, her daughter could have unlimited popsicles if she was smart enough to know fruit juice freezes.

Those of us who did not live on the govt tit…
What the hell happened to self respect and hard work?
Do not expect others to provide for your own those things for which are both unnecessary and you yourself are unwilling to work for.

Welfare was meant to be a financial aid program to assist Americans through rough times.

It wasn't meant to be a "career choice!"
No, I'm telling you to get a job and earn the money for her popsicle. I have grandchildren whose popsicle's I have to pay for. Why should I have to pay for yours.
