Speaker Mike Johnson Suggests Congress Could Subpoena Obama Over Russia Hoax

Again, will anything actually happen?

House Speaker Mike Johnson has indicated that Congress could subpoena Barack Obama to question him over allegations that he and his national security team colluded with intelligence officials in an effort to cook up a narrative that President Trump worked with Russia to unlawfully swing the 2016 election in his favour.

Johnson told reporter David Brody that a subpoena of Obama is on the table.

“I think we have a responsibility to follow the truth, where it leads,” Johnson said, adding “To do effectively the opposite of what that other team did — they were engaged in a partisan political plot to take down their foe in the other party.”

“We need to be about the rule of law and bring an order to the chaos and searching out the truth because the American people are owed those answers,” Johnson continued.

Referring to Obama, Johnson further stated,  “If it’s uncomfortable for him, he shouldn’t have been involved in overseeing this, which is what it appears to us has happened.”

On Monday, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard officially handed the Department of Justice a criminal referral relating to the “treasonous conspiracy” by Obama officials and the former President himself outlined in documents she released last week.

Gabbard accused the Obama administration of an “egregious abuse of power and blatant rejection of our Constitution” that “threatens the very foundation and integrity of our democratic republic.”

Again, the question has to be asked, will anything come of this or will we have to make do with Trump posting more AI videos of Obama being arrested?

  1. Speaker Mike Johnson, today July 22nd 2025, also truncated this session for the House Of Representatives early, sending everyone home in order to avoid a vote on whether to release the Epstein files Drumpf is dragging his feet on.

The brave and incorruptible Representative Thomas Massie is spearheading this push. His twitter feed has frequent posts of late updating his growing support.

Recall please that this same Mike Johnson just days ago publicly called for Trump to release everything regarding Epstein in the interests of transparency.

Recall also that this was the same Mike Johnson who introduced Netanyahu to Congress as “His Excellency”, and threatened to arrest anyone who interrupted Netanyahu’s speech.

    Mike Johnson (R-Israel).
He’s as much a traitor as Huckabee and a very long list of others.

  2. I do not like revanchism, It destroys societies, countries. More important than Obama or the surveillance that Biden mounted against Gabbard, it is the attack of the Soros and NGOs and the fight against the islamisation of the EU, the Ugly Kingdom and America. Or the front of the drugs, the latin american cartels, the Chinese corporative complex mafia and the fanatical finalist extremism of Xi Jinping and the ChCP.

  3. ..LOL @ ‘suggest’..yup, because that’s ALL that will happen. just a mere ‘suggestion’ by the speaker of the house..blah blah blah…

  4. Yah, who needs arrest warrants and evidence n stuff like that, thats only for the serfs. Im sure the muslim brotherhood lady boy lover is quaking in his boots.
