JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon declared Thursday that Democrats are “idiots” who are still pushing failed woke policies that are harming America.
Speaking at a foreign ministry event in Dublin, Dimon cited Democrats’ obsessions with DEI gender politics, and other policies that the rest of the country can’t stand.
“I have a lot of friends who are Democrats, and they’re idiots,” Dimon, one of the world’s most powerful bankers, bluntly proclaimed.

“They overdid DEI …. We all were devoted to reaching out to the Black community, Hispanic, the LGBT community, the disabled — we do all of that,” he continued.
“But to the extent, they gotta stop it. And they gotta go back to being more practical. They’re very ideological,” Dimon empahsised.
Dimon added that he sees himself now as “barely a Democrat,” and also expressed grave concern for New York City, which is about to elect a full on Marxist mayor in Zohran Mamdani.
“This guy just got elected — he’s more of a Marxist than a socialist, and now you see these Democrats falling all over themselves saying, ‘Well, he’s pointing out some real problems, affordable housing and grocery prices.’ OK, maybe,” Dimon said.
He added, “There’s the same ideological mush that means nothing in the real world.”
At last year’s WEF meeting in Davos, Dimon defended President Trump, praising aspects of his record in office and telling Democrats they need to “grow up,” and have a bit more respect.
He told a CNBC panel “Just take a step back, be honest. He’s kind of right about NATO, kind of right about immigration, he grew the economy quite well, tax reform worked, he was right about some of China.”
“He wasn’t wrong about some of these critical issues and that’s why they’re voting for him,” Dimon added, adding that more thought needs to go into why voters support Trump.
“When people say MAGA, they’re actually looking at people who voted for Trump and they’re basically scapegoating them [saying] that you are like him,” Dimon stated, adding “[But] I don’t think they’re voting for Trump because of his family values.”
He further urged, “the Democrats have done a good job with the deplorables, hugging their bibles and their beer and their guns…Can we stop that stuff and actually grow up and treat other people respectfully and listen to them a little bit?”
