Yes, a ‘diverse’ multicultural society which brings with it immensely-increased multiple categories of crime, street litter and filth is, according to some local residents, infinitely better than clean and well-maintained public spaces that are comparatively crime-free in comparison.
Either these residents, who remember those more peaceful and pleasing bygone years perfectly well yet still opt for endless diversity, are deliberately deluding themselves or they are too chicken to say out loud what is obvious to everyone in case they end up being charged with thought crime and detained by the local stasi.
