Supporters of President Trump are apoplectic after former FBI Director James Comey was questioned by The Secret Service but not arrested following a social media post calling for the ’86ing’ of the President.
As we highlighted yesterday, Comey arranged some shells on a beach into the number 8647, which many, including the President himself, saw as a clear call for assassinating Trump.
The post also seems to have had a sinister double meaning.
Yesterday afternoon, Comey was escorted to the DC Secret Service field office, where he was questioned in a standard interview and asked to explain himself.
Comey was seen exiting the building at a later time, released without any charges filed.
The interview reportedly lasted around 70 minutes, and according to the US Secret Service he is still under ACTIVE investigation.
Comey’s wife is now also scheduled to be questioned as to the validity of his claims.
