The Tolerant Left: Kent State University Displays Trump’s Head On A Pike ‘Art’

This is who they are

A student at Kent State University was allowed to publicly display a piece of ‘artwork’ that depicted President Trump’s severed head on a pike with the caption “We only have to get lucky once.”

Can’t you just feel the tolerance and joy?

Incredibly, Kent State initially defended the monstrosity, claiming it was part of a student’s “art thesis” and was protected under the First Amendment and Ohio law, and that people should not expect it to be taken down.

However, after massive backlash, it now appears that the student who created it has agreed it can be removed after Senator Bernie Moreno and Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost both spoke to Kent State President Todd Diacon.

They essentially told Diacon the threatening nature of the display provided ample grounds for it to be removed.

This is who the left are now.

Promoters of extreme violence, putting a smiley face on assassination, as Hannity put it earlier this week.

  1. ..freedom of expression on college campuses. hmmm..

..so, if someone decides to burn a rainbow flag on campus, would that be considered ‘freedom of expression’ as well?

    ..asking for a friend.

  2. We have the same Marxist mentality infecting our universities, though I’m not aware of any literal death threats yet. Of course, Comrade Starmer is a Marxist, so they won’t be targeting him. Still, there has been some good news insofar as the UK now legally defines men as men and women as women, so trans women are NOT women and that fact is now part of our (limited) freedom of speech. Universities and many other public and private organisations are furious, so it must be a good thing.

  3. Sorry Bob. Threatening the president is a felony and supersedes freedom of expression although this is of such poor taste they will probably chalk it up to children being children.
