UK Prime Minister Kier Starmer has taken to social media to wish the British people a ‘Happy Nepali New Year’ but has failed to mention the Christian Holy week at all.

It’s a perfect illustration of the absolute state of the left in Britain, that the so called leader of the country publicly recognises a holiday of a completely different nation, which is of significance to only a tiny minority of people residing here.
The most recent data from the 2021 Census for England and Wales recorded 103,888 people of Nepali ethnicity in England and Wales, and 2,842 in Scotland, totaling roughly 106,730 across Great Britain.
With a population of about 65.6 million, this equates to approximately 0.16% of people in Britain being of Nepalese heritage.
On the other hand, the same census data shows that 46.2 percent of the population in England and Wales identifies as Christian. Scotland and Northern Ireland report separately, but Great Britain overall had a similar figure of 46 percent.
Yet Starmer has not even bothered to acknowledge that this entire week is a major Christian calendar event.
Indeed, it’s worse than this. Much worse. Starmer is basically celebrating everything apart from Christian Holy week.

Those defending Starmer, cry that he’s displaying how ‘diverse’ Britain is. Ok, lets take that logic and run with it.
There are an estimated 4-5 MILLION non-British Christians living in the country. They come from every country you can think of.
Is that not diverse enough?
