During his hearing to secure the position of Secretary of Health and Human Services Wednesday, Robert F. Kennedy batted away Democrat attacks and absolutely wiped the floor with those who attempted to denigrate him.
During the first of multiple confirmation hearings, this one before the Senate Finance Committee, RFK Jr angered Democrats by highlighting the wastefulness and inferiority of the so called Affordable Care Act and Medicaid in comparison to private insurance options.
“Americans, by and large, do not like the Affordable Care Act. People are on it, they don’t like Medicaid, they like Medicare, and they like private insurance,” Kennedy asserted, much to the annoyance of Obamacare devotees in the room.
Kennedy suggested there should be a huge reevaluation of the system to prioritise private insurance and focus more on care for veterans and the elderly.
Kennedy blasted the smug Democrats, urging “I would ask any of the Democrats who are chuckling just now, do you think all that money, the $900 billion that we’re sending to Medicaid every year, has made Americans healthier? Do we think it’s working for anybody? Are the premiums low enough?”
JUST IN: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. calls out Democrats to their faces who were laughing at him, rips them for burning money just to make Americans less healthy.

When Democrat Senator Ron Wyden directly attacked Kennedy’s character with cherry picked quotes and out of context statements, he hit back with a vengeance.
“Mr. Kennedy has embraced conspiracy theories, quacks, charlatans, especially when it comes to the safety and efficacy of vaccines,” Wyden charged, adding “He has made it his life’s work to sow doubt and discourage parents from getting their kids life-saving vaccines.”
“This is the profile of someone who chases money and influence wherever they lead, even if that may mean the tragic deaths of children and other vulnerable people,” Wyden further blathered.
RFK Jr. fired back, “Senator, as you know, because it’s been repeatedly debunked that statement I made on the Lex Fridman Podcast was a fragment of the statement.”
“[Fridman] asked me whether there were vaccines that were safe and effective and I said to him some of the live virus vaccines are,” he continued, adding “And I said there were no vaccines that were safe and effective for every person.”
“Every medicine has people that are sensitive to them, including vaccines. He interrupted me at that point,” Kennedy explained.
“I’ve corrected it MANY TIMES, including on national TV,” he emphasised, adding. “You know about this, Senator Wyden, so bringing this up right now is dishonest.”

RFK Jr. just completely dismantled Senator Ron Wyden's DISHONEST opening line of questioning:

When Wyden attempted another line of attack with COVID vaccines, Kennedy again wiped the floor with him.
“The CDC recommended COVID vaccines without any scientific basis for six-year-old children, he retaliated, adding “COVID Vaccines are inappropriate for six-year-old children who basically have zero risk from COVID. That’s why I brought that lawsuit.”

Wyden even accused RFK Jr of killing people with measles.
RFK Jr. debunks Sen. Wyden's narrative that RFK Jr was responsible for 83 people dying from measles in Samoa:

Senator Mark Warner also tried out a gotcha question on Kennedy which backfired.
Sen. Warner: Do you pledge to not fire federal employees who work on food safety?
— Media Research Center (@theMRC) January 29, 2025
RFK Jr: There are 91,000 employees
Sen. Warner: I take that as a no. What about people who work on preventing cyber attacks?

While Senator Michael Bennet just yelled smears at Kennedy:
? SENATOR MICHAEL BENNET (D) TO RFK: It DOESN'T MATTER what you come here and say. This is a job where it is life and d*ath for kids in our health care system. They are suffering. We can't deliver basic health care. It's too important for the games that YOU'RE playing. pic.twitter.com/tSREI6W8HN

Kennedy pointed out that Democrats used to be aligned with him on the vast majority of his policies but now oppose him simply because they must vilify Trump.
RFK JR: "There's no such thing as Republican children or Democratic children. These are our kids. 66% of them are damaged … And all these Democrats are opposed to me for partisan issues. They used to be my friends, agreed with me on all the environmental issues I've been… pic.twitter.com/CDyOlzjmDN

Lazy Socialist Democrats always default to Marxist idiocy as the answer to everything.
LOL. It does look like the Dims sent in the JV squad.
When folks drive like idiots they crash into others or objects and their auto insurance goes up. When people eat like idiots and get sick their health insurance goes up. When you lose your job several times a year you find yourself living in a shelter. Deterrence works on most things. Crime, health, employment…..
