X owner Elon Musk spoke about the raging fires in LA Wednesday, noting that if “obvious” counter measures had been enacted then major damage and loss of life could have been averted.
During an interview with Mark Penn, CEO of Stagwell, Musk urged “We really need to have fire breaks, and we need to clear the brush back away from houses. And we need to make sure the reservoirs are full.”
“These are all obvious things. But due to a bunch of environmental rulings, you can’t actually do that in California,” Musk continued, adding “They’re not allowed to do the fire breaks, and they’re not allowed to push the brush back away from houses because it might hurt some red-legged frog or something like that.”
“It’s like some sort of creature, usually a creature you’ve never heard of, that is preventing this from occurring. There’s this fish called the smelt, for example,” Musk further explained.
He added, “We have far more freshwater runoff into the ocean than we should on the theory that it helps this one little fish that likes a slightly briny freshwater salt water mix. And if we keep more fresh water, then the smelt fish will not be happy. But there’s no actual evidence that the smelt fish is going to be unhappy if we keep a bit more fresh water.”
“So, we should keep more fresh water, keep the reservoirs full, and just have some sensible fire breaks and move the brush away from houses,” Elon asserted, adding “We’d have saved a lot of trouble, a lot of tragedy in LA if we’d done that.”

As we highlighted earlier, old clips of President Trump and tweets he sent warning Gavin Newsom that he needed to get his act together regarding water supplies and clearing forest floors are going viral as respondents realise Trump was on the money once again.

Democrats and leftists are, of course, blaming climate change.

Well, for decades people have been falling in line with the clown George Soros, another multi-billionaire spending billions on enabling the enemy Marxist agenda all over the Western world.
Shouldn’t we call him out and shutting him up too? Better still, we should instead be confiscating his billions and, furthermore, banging him up in prison as well.
Fires happen, it’s a natural cycle but if you get windy seasons that cycle can never work around artificial structures unless they allow permits for castles and moats. When fire rages you could pump the moat water when needed. Load it up with gators and the house becomes secure against illegals and joggers trying to break in for you 105 inch TV to buy China white. I guess you need 2 joggers for that beast.
Nature is nice we know and it does make your property worth more but insurance companies can no longer afford it, thanks to the slab jab excess deaths, so buyers beware. Eventually it will get sorted when businesses move away and bring out your dead carts are commonplace but for now you might want to wait until Newscum and the 5 million illegals are no more.
Stop giving this clown media attention.anyone see him devoting his paper wealth to help anyone?
