Appearing on Clayton Morris’ Redacted podcast, Tucker Carlson predicted that in just 10 years the landscape of journalism will be completely unrecognisable and the legacy media shows on TV today will be gone.
“People working at NBC News will not have careers as journalists in 10 years from now,” Tucker urged, adding that “the reason they won’t is not because of technology, it’s because they have no credibility, because they’re corrupt, they’re liars.”
“So that’s really the lesson. Corruption kills you, especially in a business predicated on trust, which is the media,” Carlson asserted.
CLAYTON: "Elon Musk said, 'You are the media … How important is it for citizen journalists?"

TUCKER: "There's nothing shallower, dumber, more repetitive, more controlled, less informative than cable news. I think I can say that with authority … The people who work at NBC… pic.twitter.com/yY1LGOKr6D
He continued, “There’s nothing more corrupt than what we have. So I’m glad that it’s going away. There’s nothing shallower than cable news.”
“So for them to say, you know, the public is reaching conclusions we disagree with because they’re not watching long and are getting all their news from Tiktok or something,” he added.
Tucker is referring to the clowns on MSNBC’s Morning Joe who couldn’t fathom why people are turning them off and going to social media, particularly X for information.
They appeared to settle on the reason being a lack of attention span among people, which is deliciously ironic given that they deal in 3 minute segments and soundbites broken up by ads for their big pharma corporate sponsors, where as the likes of Carlson and Rogan produce multiple in depth interviews and discussions per week that are regularly 2-3 hours in length.
“You know, there’s, again I just want to restate, there’s nothing shallower, dumber, more repetitive, more controlled, less informative than cable news,” Tucker reiterated, adding “I think I can say that with authority, so can you. So if they’re claiming that the other guys are just like, not up to their level of journalism or rectitude, like, it’s just dogs barking, it means nothing to me.”
Carlson posited that the media landscape is “entering a much freer, more open period,” noting that Elon Musk should be given “100 percent of the credit for that.” He also again lauded Rogan for “creating an entire new genre” of broadcasting “for which I’m benefitting.”
“I mean, I love Joe Rogan anyway, but he did that single-handedly, so I guess we’re both beneficiaries,” Carlson noted, adding “He created this thing, like it didn’t exist before. It’s an amazing thing that, you know, if the world were fair, then everyone in the media would be tipping a hat to him.”
There is a huge cultural shift occurring and the media is at the centre of it.
As we highlighted earlier, president Trump is considering replacing legacy media representatives in the White House press corps with independent journalists and podcasters.

They shot their collective wad with the Hunter laptop lies.
Most of my life I was simply too busy too pay attention so I guess we also have to educate people on how important it is to do research before supporting a candidate. Even Tucker admitted he supported the wrong people in the past and he’s in the business.
Unfortunately we can no longer rely on search engines so you have to be creative. Exploring the lost art of listening to your community is a good start. I believe they used to call these events town hall meetings. When 50 are doing the research towards one common solution you save a lot of valuable time.
