The Kamala Harris campaign put out a deceptively edited video of Donald Trump from his speech in Wisconsin last night, and used it to claim that he intends to force women to obey an abortion ban “whether they like it or not,” and even be spied on by the government in a federal crack down.

Anyone can find the original video and instantly discover that Trump wasn’t even referring to abortion at all.
In fact, worse still, he was talking about wanting to protect women from violent rapists and murderers, and more existential threats to America.
The reason he used the phrase “whether the women like it or not,” is because some of his advisors told him he shouldn’t talk about feeling a responsibility to protect women in case some of them don’t like it.

The fact that the editing by the Harris campaign is so sloppy shows just how little they care about being caught acting deceptively.
They’re clearly panicking.
With regards to abortion, Trump has repeatedly said he opposes any federal abortion ban and will veto it, if it happens.
“Everyone knows I would not support a federal abortion ban, under any circumstances, and would, in fact, veto it, because it is up to the states to decide based on the will of the their voters,” Trump noted earlier this month.
He also noted that he supports the three exceptions for abortion, those being in cases of rape, incest and when the life of the mother is in danger.
What he doesn’t support is late term abortions in normal circumstances.
