A former Biden/Harris Comms Director once again described Donald Trump as a “threat to Democracy” just one week after he was almost assassinated in broad daylight by a deranged leftist for the second time in as many months.
Kate Bedingfield served as the White House Communications Director in the Biden administration from 2021 to 2023. She also previously served as deputy campaign manager for the Joe Biden 2020 presidential campaign and as communications director for Biden when he was vice president in the Obama administration
Now a CNN talking head, Bedingfield told viewers at the weekend that Democrat voters are “tired of the hostility, tired of the incessant whining, the contsant complaining, the threats to Democracy.”

Bedingfield previously called for Democrats to “turn their fire on Donald Trump” just days after first failed assassination attempt on Trump, sparking a massive backlash.
I immediately caught myself and apologized – it was intended as a turn of phrase to mean focus on him, but I agree it’s absolutely inappropriate in this moment.

Despite this, the White House labelled Trump a threat just two days later, and when journalist Peter Doocy called out Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre over the comments, she accused him of being “dangerous.”
As we have highlighted, Democrats including Biden and Harris have repeatedly labelled Trump a threat, even more so after the first assassination attempt.
Others have directly called him a fascist and likened Trump to Hitler.
More than a quarter of Democrats have said they believe the country would be better off if one of the shooters had succeeded in assassinating Trump.
