Obsolete former CNN presenter Don Lemon has elicited disdain after he made a mocking ‘reaction’ TikTok video to Melania Trump speaking about the distress she suffered watching her husband almost get assassinated on live TV.
In a desperate attempt to stay relevant, Lemon, whose output is less popular than fake fireplace videos, disgustingly rolled his eyes at Melania describing the attempt on her husband’s life as a “horrible and distressing experience.”
Lemon then started gesticulating, shaking his head and over dramatically acting exasperated in reaction to Melania questioning failures on behalf of law enforcement to prevent the assassination attempt from occurring.
“I can’t help but wonder, why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech?” Melania noted, adding “There is definitely more to the story and we need to uncover the truth.”
In response to the comments Lemon slapped his forehead and held it in his hands, insinuating her feelings, which are shared by most Americans, are somehow crazy.
The backlash was swift.
