Many pointed out that while this moment was MAGA gold, the debate was more of a stalemate. Harris succeeded in that she didn’t completely fold and collapse like a house of cards.
She was capable of repeating without notes what she’d been briefed to say, and it has to be said, like it or not, Trump probably shouldn’t have yelled “They’re eating dogs!” when discussing illegal immigration, when there are so many more serious and impactful repercussions of the open border to focus on.

After the debate Trump seemed unhappy about the bias, stating that he doesn’t see why he should do another debate because of it.
