Kamala Campaign Pushes Proven Hoax That Trump Called Neo-Nazis “Very Fine People”

Even Snopes admitted it was false.

Kamala Harris’ official campaign has regurgitated the proven hoax that Donald Trump called neo-nazis at a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia “very fine people,” something that even far-left ‘fact checker’ website Snopes acknowledges is “false”.

“7 years ago today, white supremacists and neo-Nazis marched on Charlottesville, chanting racist and antisemitic bile and killing an innocent woman,” Kamala’s official campaign account posted on X.

“This is who Donald Trump calls “very fine people.”

The post included video footage of white supremacists scuffling before a clip of Trump saying, “But you also had people who were very fine people on both sides.”

However, the Harris campaign is amplifying something that was demonstrably proven to be fake news seven years ago.

Trump made the comments in response to the Unite the Right rally in August 2017, which was focused around the removal of a Confederate statue.

“Trump did say there were “very fine people on both sides,” referring to the protesters and the counterprotesters,” reported Snopes.

“He said in the same statement he wasn’t talking about neo-Nazis and white nationalists, who he said should be “condemned totally.”

The “condemned totally” part of Trump’s remarks was cut out of the clip posted by the Harris campaign.

The Associated Press also admitted the hoax, noting that Trump, “Wasn’t talking about the Neo-Nazis and white nationalists in attendance.”

Despite the claim that Trump called Neo-Nazis “very fine people” being manifestly wrong, Democrats have repeated the lie ad nauseam for years.

Respondents on X called out the hoax.

Now we await to see whether the legacy media will call Harris out for pushing blatant misinformation.

Don’t hold your breath.

  1. Old newspaper adage: “Never let the truth get in the way of a good story”. But this worse. In politics it is: “Never let the truth get in the way of (repeating) a blatant lie that can win votes”.
