Kamala Harris is getting a lot ahead of herself. She chose the occasion of Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee’s funeral to announce that she is the president.
While delivering a eulogy, Harris spoke about working with Lee who make ‘Juneteenth’ a federal holiday.
Referring to the legislation, Harris stated “Which as a US Senator, I was proud to co-sponsor and then as president,” before correcting herself.
“As vice president it was my honor – with the president! With the president!” Harris said, prompting the those in attendance to break into cheers.
You would never know Kamala is at a funeral because it sounds like she is giving a campaign speech about her favorite person…Kamala.

It’s hardly surprising that Harris views herself as president, given Joe Biden’s zombie status and the fact he’s been referring to her as president for four years.
Democrats are clearly happy to turn a eulogy into a political rally.
They did this same thing with Elijah Cumming's funeral right before the 2020 election. Turned it into a election campaign circus. Course, I'm sure Sheila wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Hillary Clinton also got in on the act, stating “come next January when our first woman president takes the oath of office, I’ll be thinking of Sheila, wondering what up in heaven she’s wearing, what magnificent long scarf she has wrapped around herself.”
Imagine the screeching seethe that would ensue if Donald Trump used someone’s funeral as a campaign stop.
