While rumours continue to mount that Joe Biden will be forced to abandon his campaign, Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance has called for Biden to step down from the presidency immediately.
Vance pointed out that while more Democrats keep calling on Biden to “stop running,” there is no reason they also shouldn’t be calling for him to resign the highest office in the country.
“If you can’t run, you can’t serve. He should resign now,” Vance declared.
The comments come as the White House has denied Biden’s handlers are working on his “exit plan.”
Biden is also reportedly fuming at Nancy Pelosi, who met with dozens of Democrat lawmakers earlier this month to discuss how the Party goes forward without Biden.
CNN’s Kaitlan Collins reported Friday night that Biden was “seething tonight, with much of his anger directed at Nancy Pelosi.”
“That’s because some of the names that are calling for him to drop out of the race are her close allies in the view from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, tonight where President Biden finds himself,” the reporter added.
A total of 36 Democratic lawmakers have now publicly called for Biden to quit his campaign. Yet zero have called for him to resign the presidency.

If Biden resigns the presidency too (at the time of writing, he has announced he is no longer running), then Harris takes over as president! I don’t think the Democrats want that given she is even less popular than sleepy Joe in many areas.
If he’s too impaired to run for office, he’s too impaired to hold office.
Vance needs to crawl back into the hole he crawled out of.
