X owner Elon Musk has responded to extremists on the platform calling for journalist Tucker Carlson to be arrested and charged with treason merely for interviewing Vladimir Putin.
The onslaught of hate towards Tucker snowballed last night after he released a video confirming he had interviewed the Russia leader and explaining his reasons for doing so.
Leftists, RINOs, Neocons and general haters of free speech piled on, labelling Carlson a traitor, a Russian asset, and calling for him to be arrested.
“Arrest those calling for his arrest!” Musk responded in a post on X.
Carlson revealed that he has spoken with Elon Musk concerning the interview, and that Musk has agreed to host it on X without any tampering, editing or censorship.
“Elon Musk, to his great credit, has promised not to supress or block this interview once we post it on his platform X, and we’re grateful for that,” Carlson noted, adding “Western governments, by contrast, will certainly do their best to censor this video on other, less-principled platforms, because that’s what they do.”
Carlson also noted that he believes operatives acting on behalf of the Biden Administration have again been spying on his communications in the lead up to the interview.
”Almost three years ago, the Biden administration illegally spied on our text messages and then leaked their contents to their servants in the news media,” Carlson stated, adding “They did this in order to stop a Putin interview that we were planning. Last month, we’re pretty certain they did exactly the same thing once again. But this time, we came to Moscow anyway.”
Following up on this, a Newsmax reporter asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to comment. She refused, calling the allegations “ridiculous.”
”It’s a ridiculous premise and a ridiculous statement that was made about this administration,” Jean-Pierre said.

There are always two sides to any war. We hear all about the ‘wrongdoings’ of Putin, but are led to believe Zelensky is completely innocent. As usual, the populations of each country, not the leaders, are the ones who suffer (exactly the same applies to Israel vs Hamas). Hearing from ‘the other side’ will be very interesting – and the more my government wants to suppress it, the more I will seek it out.
