There’s been a disturbing new update to the bizarre story of how a group of people apparently affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party tried to stop a YouTuber filming in London.
As we documented in yesterday’s video, which is embedded below, the drama began when Brendan Kavanagh was being recorded playing the piano in St. Pancras station.
A group of Chinese people approached him claiming they worked for a Chinese television station and that in China they have the right not to have their faces recorded in public.
Despite the Chinese people clearly being in the wrong (they were in the UK, where it is a legal right to film in public and there is no expectation of privacy in public), a British Transport Police officer tried to intimidate Kavanagh into deleting his footage.
The officer also amplified ludicrous accusations that Kavanagh had been ‘racist’ because he pointed out the people were from China and were waving Communist flags.
Kavanagh later speculated that the bizarre behavior of the Chinese people suggested they were closely aligned with the Chinese government, and that one of the more aggressive individuals could even have been an armed ‘handler’.
After the story garnered international attention and Kavanagh’s video was seen by millions of people on social media, the piano at St. Pancras station has now been roped off and is being closely watched by security guards.
Why on earth this is necessary and who made that decision just adds to the absurd and bizarre nature of the story.
Kavanagh addressed the roping off of the piano in a new video uploaded to his YouTube channel.
Meanwhile, the CCP-affiliated crew that confronted Kavanagh are still apparently trying to get YouTube to remove the viral video despite it receiving millions of views on YouTube and millions more on X.
Speculation continues to rage as to whether the Chinese individuals were spies and why on earth they thought they could tell a British man who wasn’t allowed to exercise legal rights in his own country.
In yet another twist, some are claiming that one of the Chinese women involved in the incident was pictured with UK Chancellor of The Exchequer Jeremy Hunt inside the Palace of Westminster.

A few things, here: You have no idea what you are talking about and are making cultural things up as you go. It’s already known who these people are down to their names and business in UK. They simply wanted to hide their game of the moment but achieved the opposite result because of their own usual communist stupidity.

A few things, here. First, British police don’t know their own laws, intentionally or no. Second, Asians are pretty strict about respect shown to people of different ages, including the way you talk to them. Third, these people seem like they may have been important in China but were trying to stay low-key in Europe, for some reason. Maybe the family of a Chinese mayor or other government official on vacation? The cops were probably called by their family and told to get someone over there to take care of things, and we wound up with that old bitty.
How can the police in UK be TOLD what to do by chinese? Is UK under ocupation?
Your point about respect in China is bs. Just go to a chinese subway or even at elevators. they wil push people like potatoes. If somebody falls on the ground in China, nobody wil help him. If a car hits you, the driver wil run away. savages
If a car hits a child in China, the driver will backup and run over the child again and then drive away. TRUE STORY, and not a rare circumstance.

Oh they know the laws, but they openly and brazenly violate the laws because they attempt to incite their targets into uttering threats in order to give the badge wearing pigs a reason to arrest. It’s a covert yet blatant attempt at entrapment.
