Nikki Haley is being ridiculed for the bizarre suggestion that Russia is linked to the October 7 Hamas attacks because Vladimir Putin’s birthday is on October 7.
Yes, she actually said that.
Haley made the comments during a recent campaign event.
“Remember when I told you Putin hit rock bottom,” said Haley before an awkward pause.
“Hamas invaded Israel and did all that brutality on October 7th,” she added. “October 7th is Putin’s birthday – who’s the happiest person in the world right now?”
When Haley made the ludicrous statement, two of the attendees behind her glanced at each other and shared a confused look.
The Republican candidate then suggested that Putin was delighted because the war in Gaza distracted everyone’s attention from Ukraine.
She then claimed that Russian intelligence helped Hamas penetrate Israel, before suggesting that even more American taxpayer money should be sent to fund wars.
“If we supported Ukraine and supported Israel, that’s only 5 per cent of our defense budget,” Haley remarked.
The GOP establishment darling is now apparently so thirsty for more war, she’s literally just inventing things out of fresh air in a desperate attempt to bolster her argument.
“Establishment sectors pretend “conspiracy theories” come from reckless extremists who exploit “unfettered speech,” commented Glenn Greenwald.
“But if you look at the most unhinged and destructive conspiracy theories over 25 years, they came from the establishment,” he added.
“Nikki Haley’s is one of the most insane.”
As we previously highlighted, during last month’s GOP debate, Vivek Ramaswamy completed crushed Nikki Haley’s warmongering sentiment, to which she could only respond with a bizarre tweet about wearing heels for “ammunition”.
Haley is currently polling at around 11 per cent alongside Ron DeSantis, although both remain far behind Trump.
