Some are accusing new Argentinean President Javier Milei of being ‘cucked’ as he prepares to sign the Cop 28 Paris climate agreement despite previously calling climate change a hoax and a “socialist lie”.
The Telegraph reports that Milei “has about-turned on his commitment to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement.”
After promising to pull out of the climate pact, Milei has now sent his top Marcia Levaggi to Dubai for the United Nations Cop28 climate talks, where she is expected to sign it.
Milei swept to victory on the vow that climate hysteria was a “socialist lie” and that he would move his country away from any commitments to the technocratic agreement, having once denounced it as “cultural Marxism”.
“All these politicians who blame the human race for climate change are fake and are only looking to raise money to finance socialist bums who write fourth-rate newspapers,” Mr Milei said.
The report notes that the ‘Argentinean Trump’ has already begun moderating his tone and back pedaling on his more “radical ideas” like dollarisation and scrapping the nation’s health ministry.
Milei has also staffed his cabinet with more mainstream conservatives, upsetting his libertarian ideological allies.
