I have a rare disease (Stiff Person Syndrome) and have been denied a few assistance programs because of “diversity”. An employee at well known hospital/university I go to told me something along the lines of “I wouldn’t be getting treated there if I wasn’t white”: I saw her get in a BMW, meanwhile I was waiting for public transportation. She has waaay more $$$ than I. I get a whopping $914/mo.
