Twitter/X owner Elon Musk defended the Second Amendment in a post over the weekend, urging that an armed populace are essential to freedom.
Responding to a post on X arguing that events in recent years are pushing people to buy more guns, Musk wrote “As tragic as the mass-shootings are, armed citizens are essential to the defense of democracy.”
