Republican Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy seized on the media swarm around the arraignment of President Trump Thursday to promote a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request he has filed against the Biden Department of Justice demanding to know the “truth” about several topics.
Speaking from outside the DC courtroom, Ramaswamy stated “The reason the people don’t trust the government is that the government doesn’t trust the people. I’m here at the courthouse where Trump will be arraigned later today and I’m making a demand to our government: tell us the truth about what’s really driving this flurry of prosecutions, with trial dates set during the height of the upcoming election.”
He continued, “Why is it that we see the rise of three different indictments, three supposedly independent prosecutions at the same time in the midst of a presidential election? It’s because the government does not trust the people to select their leaders.”
“Turns out that trust is a two-way relationship. The reason that the people don’t trust the government is that our government no longer trusts the people. So is this a politicized persecution through prosecution? I certainly believe it is,” he added.
Ramaswamy went on to talk about government use of big tech to censor and suppress information, including the origins of COVID, as well as the withholding of the Nashville transgender school shooter’s manifesto.
“Tell us the truth about what you actually told Jack Smith. Tell us the truth about the COVID origin. Tell us the truth about where the virus originated,” Ramaswamy demanded.

While some commended him for speaking out, others accused the GOP candidate of trying to ‘grift the MAGA grannies’:
Ramaswamy discussed the FOIA lawsuit the previous day on Fox News, noting that among other actions he plans to release elite pedo Jeffrey Epstein’s client list if elected president.
Ramaswamy also stated that he does not believe Americans have heard the truth about the 9/11 attacks:
