Elon Musk seemed to revel in the unrelenting grilling and exposition of former Twitter executives at yesterday’s House Oversight Committee hearing, branding them ‘the woke Stasi’.
As we highlighted, former Twitter Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde, former Deputy General Counsel James Baker, and former Global Head of Trust & Safety Yoel Roth were grilled by Representatives, with Congressman Clay Higgins even telling them they could be arrested and jailed for interfering with the 2020 presidential election.
Reacting to the drubbing, Musk tweeted a fire emoji and noted “The Woke Stasi felt the heat today.”
He also included a link to information pertaining to “The Lives of Others,” a movie about East German residents living under the secret police force surveillance state:

Meanwhile, Musk found himself the target of Ukrainian President Zelensky’s office Thursday, after SpaceX blocked the Ukrainian government and military from using Starlink technology to control attack drones.
SpaceX reasoned that the technology was “never meant to be weaponized” and was supplied for humanitarian use only.
Presidential spokesman Mykhailo Podolyak intimated that Musk is now with Russia, decreeing that SpaceX must decide whether it is “on the side of the right to freedom” or “on the Russian Federation’s side and its ‘right’ to kill and seize territories”.
Musk had previously made it clear that he wants to see a peace deal and will not have his technology be used as a tool of war:
