Kanye “Ye” West marked his return to Twitter by posting the word “Shalom,” although Elon Musk has made it abundantly clear that Alex Jones won’t be returning to the platform.
The musician returned weeks after alleged “anti-semitic” posts saw his account temporarily suspended following a promise to go “def con 3 on Jewish people.”
Last night, Ye tweeted the Hebrew word for peace: “Shalom” after earlier tweeting, “Testing Testing Seeing if my Twitter is unblocked.”

This followed Saturday’s reinstatement of President Donald Trump’s account, although Trump has yet to tweet anything and has repeatedly indicated he won’t be returning to Twitter.
However, despite suggestions that radio host Alex Jones may follow in having his account restored, Musk poured cold water over the prospect.
Author Sam Harris asked Musk, “Is it time to let Alex Jones back on Twitter, @elonmusk? If not, why not?”

Musk responded by remarking, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
However, the Tesla founder was immediately challenged by KimDotCom, who commented, “Alex fucked up with Sandy Hook. He admitted that and apologized. He also got a lot of “conspiracy theories” right. If serial liars like Biden and Trump are allowed on Twitter then Alex Jones should be allowed too. Please reconsider in the interest of real free speech.”

Musk responded by suggesting Jones’ controversial comments on Sandy Hook were unforgivable, despite Jones apologizing multiple times.
“My firstborn child died in my arms. I felt his last heartbeat,” he tweeted, adding, “I have no mercy for anyone who would use the deaths of children for gain, politics or fame,” wrote Musk.#

Others accused Musk of hypocrisy, arguing that Jones’ offensive statements didn’t kill anyone, unlike pharmaceutical corporations, which have provably killed children with their products yet are allowed to remain on the platform.
“Alex Jones questioned the story surrounding the deaths of 20 children,” commented cartoonist Bob Moran.
“He’s never promoted a useless and unnecessary drug that’s potentially fatal for children. And has killed many. And will go on killing and injuring many more. You did that. So did Sam Harris.”
