Donald Trump is hyping a poll that shows the FBI’s raid on his property has greatly increased Republican voter appetite for the mid-term elections.
A poll by the Trafalgar Group asked Americans if the raid had increased their motivation to vote in the 2022 election.
70.4 per cent of respondents said yes, while amongst Republican voters, 83.3 per cent said yes.
Trump shared the results of the poll on Truth Social, in addition to another question which asked GOP voters who they thought was behind the FBI raid.
76.7 per cent of Republican respondents answered, “Trump’s political enemies.”
As a whole, 47.9 per cent of Americans blamed Trump’s political enemies compared to 37.9 per cent who blamed the “impartial justice system.”
As we previously highlighted, experts are increasingly of the belief that the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago will actually serve to help Donald Trump’s chances of becoming president again in the long run.
Trump also denied a Washington Post story that claimed he was unhappy with the lawyers handling his response to the raid.
“The WAPO story that “Trump is scrambling to add seasoned lawyers” to the Mar-a-Lago Raid case is, as usual, FAKE NEWS,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
“I already have excellent and experienced lawyers – am very happy with them. This is highly political prosecutorial misconduct, I have not been charged with anything and, most importantly, I did nothing wrong. Thank you!”
Meanwhile, the media now appears to be about to about to launch another deplatforming assault on Truth Social in response to its massive growth since the raid.
Expect to see narratives appear blaming Truth Social for violent threats against the FBI in a repeat of what happened to Parler, which was largely deplatformed after the regime blamed it for the January 6 riots, despite much of the unrest being planned on Facebook.
