Joy Behar Worries Ukraine War Will Jeopardize Her Italian Holiday

Spare a thought for the real victims.

The View host Joy Behar reacted to horrific scenes of the bombardment of Ukraine by complaining that the war might jeopardize her Italian holiday.

Yes, really.

Failing to understand that chat show airheads should refrain from even discussing serious geopolitical issues, co-host Sunny Hostin got the ball rolling by talking about the latest developments in eastern Europe.

“Estimates are 50,000 Ukrainians will be dead or wounded and this is going to start a refugee crisis in Europe,” she said. “We’re talking about 5million people that are going to be displaced. It’s heartbreaking to hear what is going to happen.”

Behar then responded by expressing genuine concern…about her upcoming vacation being in peril.

“I’m scared of what’s going to happen in western Europe, too. You plan a trip, you want to go there, I’ve wanted to go to Italy for four years and I haven’t been able to make it because of the pandemic and now this. It’s like, what’s gonna happen there?” she asked.

The Daily Mail described the farce as “the latest controversy to hit the tone-deaf talk show.”

Twitter users reacted by relentlessly mocking Behar.
