Trudeau Vows “Feminist” Recovery to Tackle “She-Cession”

To combat economic downfall caused by his lockdown policies.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has vowed to overturn a “she-cession” by implementing a “feminist, intersectional recovery” from the lockdown policies he introduced.

Yes, he really said “she-cession.”

“This crisis has created a she-cession and has threatened to roll back the hard-fought social and economic progress of all women,” Trudeau told reporters.

“To build a fairer and more equal Canada, we must ensure a feminist, intersectional recovery from this crisis,” he added.

The Prime Minister was responding to a report which found that female employment is 5.3 per cent below where it sat in February 2020, while male employment dropped 3.7 per cent.

The reason why women have been hit hard is precisely down to the lockdown policies Trudeau himself has introduced.

“Most of the shortfall is attributable to losses in sectors like food services and accommodations, where workers deal directly with the public and have been hit hard by lockdowns and restrictions,” reports CBC News.

Trudeau’s invention of new woke words is unsurprising given that he once took offense to someone using the word “mankind.”

During a 2018 town hall meeting in Edmonton, the PM corrected a woman who stated, “Maternal love is the love that’s going to change the future of mankind.”

“We like to say ‘peoplekind’, not necessarily ‘mankind’, because it’s more inclusive,” Trudeau responded.

He later apologized for the “dumb joke” after people accused him of “mansplaining.”
