The media’s North Korean-style fawning over Joe Biden has already begun, with CNN’s politics editor ridiculed for his bizarre third world dictatorship-style praise.
David Chalian, who is also the network’s VP, appeared on CNN to perform a groveling display of loyalty that wouldn’t look out of place in Pyongyang.
After having first dismissed Trump as a “disgraced president” who is leaving at the “lowest point in his presidency,” Chalian might as well have got on his knees and started weeping when he addressed Biden.
“The contrast on display tonight was so stark. I mean, those lights that are just shooting out from the Lincoln Memorial along the reflecting pool, it’s like almost… extensions of Joe Biden’s arms embracing America,” said Chalian.
Not even North Korean TV would say this. Just listen.

“Not even North Korean TV would say this. Just listen. LOL. Damn,” responded Glenn Greenwald.
As Zero Hedge points out, we haven’t seen this level of embarrassment since MSNBC’s Chris Matthews 2008 remark when he said Barack Obama gave him a “thrill going up my leg.”
Greenwald went on to warn that Biden will receive virtually zero “adversarial coverage” over the next four years from the major networks.
If you're in the national press and will be on TV at any point today and being to feel the need to weep joyously, just hold it in until you find a private place. Nobody is expecting any adversarial coverage over the next 4 years, but it's just a matter of personal dignity. pic.twitter.com/FNKcFRPF56

But hey, at least we have a thriving opposition media to hold Biden’s feet to the fire that totally isn’t being silenced and banned into oblivion by the same corporate oligarchy responsible for installing Biden.
Oh.
The next four years are going to be fun.
