After putting his arm around a boy during a speech earlier today, Joe Biden told the audience, “he gave me permission to touch him.”
During an an electrical workers union conference in Washington, D.C., Biden first said he had been given “permission to hug” union president Lonnie Stephenson, who introduced him.
He then made the same joke after hugging a boy on stage.

The former vice president has been hit with numerous accusations of inappropriate touching over the last week, with more expected to come.
One wonders if the children featured in the video below “gave permission”.
